With years of experience serving on a medical school admissions committee and as a senior consultant for top firms, he has reviewed thousands of applications and helped students gain admission to elite MD, DO, and BS/MD programs. Stephen brings a data-driven approach to each applicant’s story, ensuring their materials reflect both strategic insight and authenticity.

 

Stephen holds degrees from the College of Charleston (BA), Johns Hopkins University (MS), and Harvard Medical School (MMSc). He conducts translational research in immunotherapy for brain tumors, with peer-reviewed publications and national fellowships from the American Society for Clinical Investigation (ASCI) and American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) recognizing his work. At AdmitMD, he combines his background in academic medicine with a passion for mentorship to help aspiring physicians stand out in today’s most competitive applicant pools.

Shwetabh has guided hundreds of applicants through the competitive medical school admissions process, helping students earn acceptances to top MD and DO programs. He completed his undergraduate education at The Ohio State University and conducted COVID-19 vaccine research at Harvard Medical School before starting medical school at the University of Pittsburgh.

 

During a dedicated research year at Stanford University, he focused on pediatric cardiac surgery and heart transplant outcomes, with his work presented at national conferences.

Erik Jaklitsch is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and an incoming dermatology resident at Yale. He earned his undergraduate degree in Bioengineering from Northeastern University, where he concentrated in Cell and Tissue Engineering and minored in Music.

 

Passionate about cutaneous oncology and innovation, Erik has led clinical trials and authored numerous publications on skin cancer diagnostics. He was awarded grants from the Melanoma Research Foundation and the Hillman Foundation and helped develop one of the first FDA-approved AI tools for skin cancer detection.
